2D to 3D Conversion Including CAD, CNC, CMC and More
Mission:
The mission of 2D to 3D Conversions is to provide clients with fast, high-quality three-dimensional parametric models and assemblies and, reliable assistance and support at a very competitive price. This enables our clients to improve time-to-market and competitiveness while controling costs.
Common Reasons Manufacturing Companies Turn to 2D to 3D Conversions:
- Company purchased Unigraphics NX systems but does not have appropriately trained personnel to operate the equipment. As 2D to 3D Conversion specialist we offer support for projects during the learning curve period.
- Company is looking to eliminate capital investments (i.e. hardware and software) and, personnel investments.
- Company recognizes the importance of automating their current processes as a means of freeing up valuable employee resources.
- Company has too few or no personnel who are trained to work with complex geometry. A common change in the engineering field today as even very simple products are being designed with complex shapes.
- Company has limited personnel threatening their own delivery needs.
Our Services:
2D to 3D Conversions focus is on converting 2D engineering drawings to 3D parametric master models. This allows manufacturing to directly input the data into Computer Numerical Control (CNC) and/or Computer Measuring Machine (CMC) which improve accuracy and speeds up production.
Conversion services may be limited to occasional field visits and certain contract administration requirements. Our clients are established engineering and/or manufacturing firms who require 3D model conversion services .
2D to 3D Conversions’ services include the following:
- Converting existing two dimensional drawing into three dimensional models.
- 3D modeling of mechanical components and mated assemblies.
- 3D Model Upgrades / Modifications: Quoted based on job specifics.
Technology
- 2D to 3D maintains complete and comprehensive Windows® based designing tools for modeling and design (i.e. Unigraphics NX ‘Checkmate’ tool permits several evaluations to be made on a model or assembly at minimal cost).
- We apply state-of-the-art Smart Machine Platform Initiative modeling technology.
